Galapagos Baby by Grace Kaplan – Color Print Class Salon Open Subject

Galapagos Baby_GKaplanThis photo of a baby sea lion was taken in the Galapagos In August, 2016.  It was fast asleep and nestled in the volcanic rocks under the warmth of the sun.  I am grateful for having the opportunity to visit the Galapagos where the animals do not have natural land predators, and they are not afraid of people.  We were not allowed to come closer than 6 feet, and the animals seemed comfortable having visitors.  It was a privilege to watch them interact with other animals and their habitat. These wonderful creatures and their environment are being impacted by radical changes in weather and aggressive development of hotels and transportation. ~Grace

Around the Corner by Hiro Hiranandani – Digital Image Assigned Subject

18_04_AS_Around the Corner_HHiranandani“I like street photography. On one of my trips to Times Square last year, I took two pictures near what looked like a construction site.  It had green wooden wall protecting the perimeter. I stitched two photos together in Photo Shop Elements to create a juxtaposed image.”

Congratulations Grace and Hiro!  Your images were added to the Perfect Score Gallery.
