It was a record setting evening at the Stamford Photography Club this past Wednesday, as our judges for that night”s competition handed out  perfect scores to 5 Member’s submissions.  This week we’ll be highlighting those images that received a perfect score.

Club member Sally Harris’ image Leon of the Desert earned a perfect score of 27 from our three judges for November’s competition.  Sally’s image was submitted into the Black & White Class Salon Open Subject category.

Sally says about the image:

“When I was in Chefchaouen, Morocco, I met a merchant and asked if he would let me take his picture.  His first response was No.  So I put my camera away and just started talking to him.  We spent probably 45 minutes talking.  His told me to call him Leon of the Desert – he spent most of his time traveling around to villages selling his jewelry, and the rest he spent in the desert.  Finally (after I bought a pair earrings) he agreed to have his photograph taken.  Definitely worth the wait!”

Congratulations Sally! Your image was added to the Perfect Score Gallery
