Open Critique Session This Wednesday, October 15

Given its previous popularity Stamford Photography Club will be having an open critique for our October 15th mid-month meeting.

Each member is invited to  submit digitally not more than three photos for comments by member judges. The choice of images is totally up to you.

Submission will be in the same manner as photos submitted for club competitions.  The basic guidelines are as follows –

1)  Final image size should be no longer than 1024 pixels horizontal or 768 pixels vertical

2)  The resolution of the image should be 100 dpi

3)  Members have until 5:00pm Tuesday to submit their selections for this evening’s event.

Due to the volume of images we will review only one image from a particular member at a time and then move on to another member. We will review as many images as time permits.  The more participants we have, the better the evening will be!

If you would like to participate as a judge, please let Joe Charles know by clicking here.  Not only do you get a chance to get feedback on some of your images, but you get a chance to practice giving feedback too, which is a helpful tool in your learning box when you view other photographer’s works and learn to see the things you like about particular images and components that you would do differently.

Members who submit images may also act as judges. We will rotate judges so that everyone wishing to judge will participate.
