Member to Member Portfolio Critique Wednesday, January 22, 7:30pm

The program for our January 22 third Wednesday Program will be a member-to-member portfolio critique. This has been very popular over the past few years. We are using a similar format again this year.

All members are invited to bring between five and seven images to the meeting. Images may be prints, which seem to work best, or you can bring digital images on your laptop or tablet, whichever you prefer. We encourage you to select a portfolio of related work. The theme of the portfolio may be a place, an emotion, a person or any other unifying theme or style.

We will break into small separate groups of four to five at tables around the room. The makers will present their portfolio with whatever explanation they wish to provide. The group at the table will discuss individual shots and how the images work together. For those who prefer not to do a portfolio, non-related images are fine, and the table will discuss them individually. After each portfolio has been reviewed, presenters will move to another table (pre-selected randomly) to get additional comments. This year we are asking some of our more experienced photographers to lead the discussion at each table and keep comments relevant and the process flowing.

This is a great opportunity to get friendly feedback outside of the competition environment.

Please plan to arrive no later than 7:30PM so that we have everyone present when we break into separate groups.”
