Critique and Judging Session Wednesday, October 21 @ 7:30pm

SPC will hold the popular critique and member judging session for our October 21st mid-month meeting tonight.

Have you ever wanted to be a judge?  Learn to express your thoughts when all you can say is “wow” or the art of saying something nice when you can’t think of anything to say.  Begin to appreciate how hard it is to distinguish between a 7 and a 9.  Hone your critical thinking about composition and how technique impacts the visual experience.  Members will have the opportunity to participate in this learning experience in a non-competitive environment.

Do you have photos that you like but are not sure how to make them better?  Would you like to hear what your peers have to say about your work and learn what others would do to improve your photography?  Members have submitted images digitally to get feedback in tonight’s session.

This should be an educational evening for both the judges and members submitting. As judges comment, the maker of the image will be encouraged to participate in the discussion. Audience comments will be welcome as well.
