Bill Gordon Earns a Perfect Score for “Before the Storm”

It was a record setting evening at the Stamford Photography Club this past Wednesday, as our judges for this evening’s competition handed out 5 perfect scores to our Member’s submissions.  This week we’ll be highlighting those images that received a perfect score.

Club member Bill Gordon’s image Before the Storm earned a perfect score of 27 from our three judges for November’s competition.  Bill’s image was submitted into the Black & White Image Class A Open Subject category.

Bill says about the image:

“We were on a cruise with friends up the Hudson hoping to get lots of fall scenery shots.  However, the weather was against us with an approaching storm and we were a week too early for the peak fall colors.  Fortunately, we are blessed with one of the most fantastic skylines in the world and we made the best of what we had.  I really liked the way the “Freedom Tower” was framed by the surrounding buildings of different sizes and shapes together with their various reflections.”
