Mike Harris Also Received a Perfect Score in September’s Photo Competition
Sometimes the webmaster makes a mistake. And this is one of those times. The image collector, in his zest to get the post up about the said perfect scores from our September Competition, left out the 4th image that received that achievement.
Mike Harris earned perfect marks for his image “Twenty-One Cents a Gallon, in the Color Print Salon Class Category.
Mike says about this image: “In June we drove Route 66 from St. Louis to Santa Monica. As I took this photo at a deserted gas station, I felt a connection to the painter, Edward Hopper. I posted the photo on Facebook without mentioning Hopper, and an early comment said “My goodness. Edward Hopper would be proud”. My friend had cut and pasted a woman from a Hopper painting right into my photo. So much fun.”
Congratulations Mike. Your image will be added to the Perfect Score Gallery. Click the image to the left to see it at full size.
