Member to Member Portfolio Critique Night, March 20

Our 3rd Wednesday events are geared towards non-competition programs.  This may include guest speakers, educational workshops and presentations, or social events. SPC is pleased to bring you for our 3rd Wednesday’s educational event for the month of April:

Member to Member Portfolio Critique Night
Wednesday, April 20, 7:30 pm

The program for our third Wednesday this month is a member-to-member critique.  We had a member-to-member critique evening a year ago and since it worked well, we are using the same format this year.

All members are invited to bring between five and ten photographs to the meeting.  Your photographs may be prints, or you can bring the photos on your laptop or tablets, whichever you prefer. We are encouraging you to select a portfolio of related work. The theme of the portfolio may be a place, an emotion, a person or any other unifying theme or style. We will break into small separate groups at tables around the room. The makers will present the portfolio with whatever explanation the makers want to make. The group at the table will discuss individual shots and how well the photos work together. For those who prefer not to do a portfolio, non related photos are fine, and the table will discuss them individually.

This is a great opportunity to get feedback outside of the competition environment.

Please plan to arrive no later than 7:30PM so that we have everyone present when we break into separate groups.
